HAPPENING NOW with our Cache Valley Photo Tour:
now is the perfect time to see winter elk. We have seen herds of bulls that exceed forty animals. There are also mule deer, eagles and other wildlife as well!
Wildlife
Wildlife can include elk, mule deer, eagles, hawks, owls and critters of all kinds. A lot of the elk will be on wildlife management units that don’t allow winter access or on private property. This can sometimes make it difficult to get close enough to the elk for traditional photography. As a result a lot of our elk photos and video are taken by digiscoping. This includes a spotting scope, adapter and camera or phone. If you don’t have that equipment, I have excellent gear that you can learn digiscoping on.
Location
Cache Valley, UT, has a plethora of wildlife to see when you know where to look. We will be exploring the south part of the valley as well as the main town of Logan. If you choose a two day tour there are several motels and restaurants in Logan.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Meals and lodging are not included on tours. However you are welcome to bring a sack lunch and snacks! We will provide bottled water but recommend bringing your own water bottle as well.
Our GUARANTEE
We have a 90% chance of seeing wildlife on our tours, however if the critters elude us on the tour you will always be able to enjoy beautiful scenery for landscape photography.
PRICE
Single Day Tour: $299
Price includes: 6-8 hour tour based in Cache Valley, UT. Hours can be split into morning and evening outings (same day) for optimal lighting conditions if desired.
Our photo tours are meant for beginner to advanced photographers. If you don’t have a camera, bring your phone and we will help you learn about digiscoping. If you are interested in digiscoping let us know what phone you have when you book a tour and we’ll take care of the rest!
