Sage Grouse

Watch as the male sage grouse puffs out its chest and fluffs up his feathers to impress the ladies. These birds are one of the most unique grouse species and are native to UT. These tours take place mid March through April.

Location

Our camp is located in the Utah northwest desert near Park Valley, UT. This exclusive private ranch is an ideal location for the unique sage grouse.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Each guest will be housed in a secure wall tent with a cot bed. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in your photo tour package, though we recommend bringing your own snacks if desired. Outhouse bathrooms are on site.

We have a 90% chance of seeing wildlife on our tours, however if the critters elude us on the tour you will always be able to enjoy beautiful scenery for landscape photography.

Our photo tours are meant for beginner to advanced photographers. If you don’t have a camera, bring your phone and we will help you learn about digiscoping. If you are interested in digiscoping let us know what phone you have when you book a tour and we’ll take care of the rest!
